Halloween Craft: Make a jar Jack O'Lantern
Quick! Check underneath your sink or in the back of your storage areas. I bet you have some old glass jars. Doesn't matter what size, just grab a few, grab some paint and some kids and you've got the makings of a fun craft for Halloween. It's cute too...and useful.
This craft is easy enough to make and my kids loved making it. It's not perfect but we had a great time and I think the finished product is great. This mama is proud.

Halloween Crafts -- Junk Style
It's that Halloween season and you still have a little bit of time to get some crafting done. I have to say that when I started checking around with some friends for Halloween craft articles to share on this blog, I discovered that I love love love Facebook friend Cyndee Kromminga's Restyled Junk blog site! If you are looking for simple and adorable Halloween craft ideas, you'll find it there! I am so inspired that I think I'm going to do some crafting this week (if I can find the time!). Check out all the cute stuff she has -- I am in love with the Raggedy Candy Corn and the Pumpkin Painted Fence. I think I'm going to try to make the pumpkin fence as a great project for the kids and I to do this week.

Easy Crochet Patterns for Halloween
Now that the weather has started to chill out and leaves are swirling, I have once again taken up the crochet hook and started creating. I've been making a few crocheted hats and a few little doll items. I'm thinking ahead to Christmas...even though right now we're still in Halloween season. Looking for some crocheted Halloween ideas?
Work up some of these easy-to-make crochet projects for Halloween. My friend Kay Whittenhauer has some great ideas for crocheted spooktacular fun. Check out "Easy Crochet Pattern for Fall Placemats and a Table Runner" for her ideas. I wish I had time to make them before Halloween but I don't, so maybe I'll make them for next year!
